Hope Kitchen
The Hope Kitchen is a resource that helps feed those who are living in hunger. To not only provide a meal but to show them that Jesus does in fact love them. There are agencies within Stillwater who provide food to those in need, but there is not a place to go and become community and to be loved.
We aim to provide a meal and to provide a community for those in need, not just the homeless, but the families that are struggling to put a meal together for themselves. To give them a hand up not a handout. We want to allow them the opportunity to earn a meal and feel like a useful part of the community. Everyone deserves to have some dignity placed upon them, to experience the love of Jesus through those around them. Everyone deserves the chance to get better and become whole in the eyes of Christ Jesus. In short, Hope Community exists for just that reason, to bring HOPE to a community who has sat on the fringes of society and has been forgotten. To bring forth the HOPE that only Jesus can provide, only the love that Jesus can provide, only the wholeness that He can provide. Transitional Housing
In the future, we have a desire to provide transitional housing to help families break free from the cyclic pattern of living hand-to-mouth. Hope Community desires to see families break free from the bondage of poverty. We will keep everyone updated on transitional housing as God provides.
Family and Financial Planning
One of the greatest sources of family conflict and stress centers around the family’s bank account. We want to help you create a plan and the accountability to toss that stress factor aside, so that there is room to heal the relationships. We can sit down with you and go over your financials, set up a budget, and give you some practical advice to turn things around. An empty bank account doesn’t have to remain all you see for your future. We want to bring hope back into view.
