About

About Us

The Edwards family moved to Stillwater from Evansdale Iowa in 2016 to plant Hope Community Fellowship. Before leaving Iowa, Rick and Jennifer served at Countryside Vineyard Church as Youth Pastors for 8 years. In 2015, God placed a desire in their hearts to see families reconciled to Christ Jesus to bring hope to a community in need, that community is Stillwater, Oklahoma. Hope Community Fellowship believes strongly in being intentionally in the lives of others through discipleship and mentoring. Through this belief, Hope Community Fellowship is living out the commandment of Jesus in The Great Commission, Matthew 28:18-20. 'And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Our Journey

At Hope Community Fellowship, our journey is a testament to the enduring power of faith, community, and love. For years, we have walked together, guided by a shared commitment to worship, serve, and grow in the grace of God. From our humble beginnings to the vibrant congregation we are today, our path has been marked by moments of celebration, challenges, and unwavering faith. Through it all, we've forged deep connections, found solace in our sanctuary, and extended a hand of compassion to our neighbors. As we continue this journey, we invite you to be a part of our story, to discover the warmth of our fellowship, and to join us in worship, service, and the pursuit of spiritual growth. Together, we look forward to the chapters yet to be written on this incredible journey of faith. Welcome to Hope Community Fellowship.

Mission

Hope Community Fellowship exists to nurture family reconciliation. With the help of the local church and city organizations, the family unit will gain training in becoming whole regardless of the family unit structure. Jesus’ purpose on Earth is to reconcile humans to God, and Hope Community has a desire to help reconcile mothers, fathers, and children into the loving family units the Father ultimately has designed. Therefore, we are committed to becoming a healing community that is engaged in the work of reconciliation wherever there is brokenness and division within the family. We seek to be a diverse community of hope that recognizes the power of the cross to reconcile what has been separated by brokenness. Our doors and hearts are open to all who need us, regardless of background, financial status, personal preferences, or abilities. We believe that ministry in Jesus’ name should be expressed in concrete ways through the local church. The poor are to be served as though serving Jesus Himself. “Whatever you do to the least of these,” Jesus says, this is the heart of the mission.

Vision

The vision of Hope Community Fellowship is to see the family made whole through the reconciliation love in Jesus Christ. We teach not only families, but ourselves how to not think broken, but rather to think whole. This will, in turn, teach families to live a loving life together as God intended. For fathers to treat their families with love and respect. For mothers to demonstrate their strength and grace as they partner together in providing a safe and nurturing environment for their children. For children to honor their mother and father and be their siblings’ keeper. To point families to the heart of the Father and teach them how to walk it out in tangible ways.
